Now, after returning home, the producer shared his ordeal. In an interview with news agency ANI, Sidana, while thanking the Indian Embassy, shared, 'We went to Israel on October 3 because there was a screening of our film ‘Akelli’ in Haifa on October 4 and 5. Three of us, including our film actor Nushrratt Bharuccha, were there. We had to return on the night of 7th October, but on the morning of the 7th, we heard the sound of explosions. Thanks to the Indian Embassy and Ambassador for helping us.' Earlier, Nushrratt, who landed safely in India on 8th October, a day after the Israel-Hamas bloodshed started, also issued a statement and dropped a video recalling her horrific experience. She said, 'I woke up in a hotel room in Tel Aviv with bomb sounds around me and we were taken to the basement and shelters.' The actress added that she feels 'fortunate' to be in a country like India where she feels 'protected and safe.'
