However, amid that, reports surfaced that the two are not seeing each other but have been making appearances to create some buzz around their upcoming movie 'Aashiqui 3.' But now, director Anurag Basu, who will be helming the third installment in the popular romantic franchise, has cleared the air by shutting down all such reports. Yes. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, the filmmaker shared, 'The female lead of the film has not been finalised yet. Everything out there is speculation.' When asked specifically if Tara is selected for the role, he stated, 'No. No one has been finalised.' Earlier, pictures and videos of the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' actor Kartik and Tara from a recent dinner date surfaced on social media and went viral. The actors were seen sharing a warm hug as they left the venue. Dressed in a white shirt and black pants, Kartik shelled out uber cool vibes while the 'Marjaavaan' actress looked absolutely gorgeous wearing a black top paired with an animal print skirt. Later, after being spotted, Tara dropped a cryptic post in which she penned a note saying, 'Something I've been waiting to share with you is on its way to soon become yours!
