3:17Now Playing‘Swades’ actress Gayatri Joshi recently made her first public appearance with husband Vikas Oberoi after their infamous car crash incident in Italy last month. Gayatri and Vikas attended the launch of the Ambanis’ Jio World Plaza in Mumbai. The former actress was seen in a beautiful yellow gown whereas her businessman husband opted for a blue suit. Last month, the couple was in Italy for the Sardinia Supercar Tour and took part in the luxury cars parade where they met with an accident. According to reports, it was a multiple-car collision and a Swiss couple travelling in a Ferrari died after their vehicle caught fire. A video of the accident that was recorded from one of the car’s dash cam had surfaced on social media and grabbed a lot of eyeballs. Gayatri’s pictures sitting on the road in a numb state after the accident had also emerged on the internet. Though it was a major collision, the couple escaped unhurt and returned to India days after the accident. Gayatri Joshi’s role as Geeta in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Swades’ earned her a lot of praises but she bid adieu to her acting career after the film’s release when she got married Vikas Oberoi in 2005.For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
