Putting an end to the two-and-a-half-year-old litigation, the Delhi court has finally granted divorce to rapper Honey Singh and his wife, Shalini Talwar. On November 7, the two parted ways after 11 years of their marriage. The two got married in 2011, but it was only in 2014 that they made their marital status official. In September 2022, they moved a plea seeking a mutual divorce. During the hearing, the Principal Judge of the Family Court asked Honey Singh whether he still wished to try and live with his wife, to which the singer replied that there was no further chance to live or reside together. Later, the court granted the decree of divorce to the parties after a settlement agreement was reached between them, ending all the disputes, including a domestic violence case filed against the singer by his wife. Hailing from Delhi, Shalini was a model. Not just that, she even made a cameo appearance in the 2004 movie 'Run', alongside prominent actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Bhumika Chawla, and Vijay Raaz. Speaking about Yo Yo's and Shalini's love story, their love blossomed in their teenage years. The two eventually came into a long-distance relationship as Honey Singh jetted off to the UK to pursue further education. However, despite challenges, their love endured, with occasional meetings during the singer-rapper's visits to India. After a decade of being in a relationship, both got married in a traditional Sikh wedding held at a farmhouse in Delhi, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
