A video of his statement has surfaced on the internet wherein he was seen at an event with former Pakistani players Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul and others. Take a look:
As soon as the video emerged online, netizens started criticising Razzaq for his ‘shameful’ and ‘disrespectful’ remark against Aishwarya. A user wrote, ‘Shameful example given by Abdul Razzaq’, whereas another one wrote ‘Car driver of Aishwarya Rai looks more handsome than Abdul Razzaq’. One of the netizens wrote, ‘What an absolutely shameful and disgusting guy Abdul Razzaq is? Does Islam permit to talk such trashy, nonsensical and being disrespectful towards a woman?’ Notably, the Pakistan Cricket Team finished fifth on the points table and failed to make it to the knock-outs stage of the tournament with five losses out of nine games. The Babar Azam-led team suffered losses at the hands of India, Afghanistan, Australia, South Africa and England.
