Manoj Muntashir makes shocking revelation: 'Adipurush' - a bad film with good intentions

Manoj Muntashir has once again admitted that team 'Adipurush' committed a mistake however he insisted that their 'intentions' were right. During his recent interaction with Lallantop, Manoj said, 'Adipurush is a film which was made with good intentions, but it was wrong, and by accepting this, I will not become small. Every film has a narrative, which we think about, before making a film. So when we were making the film, our intentions were that the movie’s penetration should be towards youngsters and children, who seem disconnected. We wanted to tell them that Lord Ram and Bajrangbali can be your ideals, rather than 'Thor' or 'Captain America'.' Manoj called 'Adipurush' 'A bad film made with good intentions' and added, 'Our mistake might have been that we did not understand and we forgot the difference between simple and simplistic. We became very much simplistic and the seriousness of the subject went out of our hands.' Talking about the dialogue 'Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, jalegi bhi tere baap ki', Manoj said, 'when we were writing the dialogue we were looking at it through the lens of Ramleela and probably that was also our mistake.
