On the other hand, Jim Sarbh, who was nominated for Best Actor for his depiction of Homi J Bhabha in "Rocket Boys," lost out to Martin Freeman for his work in "The Responder." Despite his outstanding performance, Jim was unable to win the coveted prize during the presentation. Shefali Shah, Jim Sarbh, and Vir Das walked the red carpet at the prestigious 51st International Emmy Awards 2023, infusing it with a touch of Indian appeal and skill. The International Emmy Awards 2023 were held on November 20 in New York City. The ceremony honoured excellence in television programming across all genres and languages. Some of the winners were Martin Freeman for Best Actor in a Drama Series (The Responder), Karla Souza for Best Actress (La Caída), Ekta Kapoor with the International Emmy Directorate Award (for her trailblazing career and impact on the Indian television landscape), and Dossiê Chapecó – O Jogo Por Trás Da Tragédia (a Brazilian documentary series) 345.
