During his recent interview with News18, Gippy opened up on his alleged friendship with Salman Khan. The singer said, 'The producer, who backed the film 'Maujaan Hi Maujaan' invited Salman to the trailer launch. I met him there. Before that, I met him on the sets of Bigg Boss. I have no friendship with Salman Khan and the anger of it is being taken out on me. For me, it is still shocking and I am unable to process what has happened to me.' Revealing details about the incident, Gippy said, 'This happened around 12:30 am to 1 am. My house is in West Vancouver, the incident took place there. We cannot comprehend what has happened and why it has happened... When this incident happened, I was shocked because I have never faced any controversies before. I have no enmity with anyone so I couldn’t even think who could have been behind the attack.' This comes after a Facebook post from an account named Lawrence Bishnoi emerged on social media claiming the responsibility behind the attack. The post read, 'While you may regard Salman Khan a brother, it is now time for your 'brother' to step in and save you. This message is for Salman Khan as well – do not harbour the illusion that Dawood or anyone can save you. Your reaction to Sidhu Moose Wala's death did not go unnoticed. We are well aware of the kind of person he was and the criminal connections he maintained.' The post also has mentions about Youth Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera and late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, 'You closely associated with Vicky during his time in Middukhera, and subsequently, you even mourned for Sidhu. You are now under our radar. Consider this a trailer... the full film will be released soon. Feel free to seek refuge in any country, but remember, death does not require a visa...'
