After coming across both videos, fans of them engaged in a social media war. One of Deepika's fans wrote, 'Copycat always', another wrote, 'Alia - the wanna be Deepika Padukone.' Amid this Alia's fans came out in support of the actress and penned comments like 'Alia wore t-shirt when Ranbir was promoting Shamshera, I mean Alia was the first' and 'Deepika Padukone's career is incomplete without spreading negativity about queen Alia.' Meanwhile, Alia and Deepika both share a close bond. In a recent episode of Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan Season 8', Alia even reacted to a question about considering Deepika Padukone as a competition. She said, 'Deepika is my senior. There is no competition.' On the work front, Alia is busy shooting for 'Jigra', while Deepika will be starring in 'Fighter', co-starring Hrithik Roshan.
