3:03Now PlayingControversy queen Rakhi Sawant has once again found herself in the spotlight as she has secured interim protection from arrest in a case registered against her by ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani. The Dindoshi Sessions Court granted the actress-dancer temporary protection from arrest in an FIR filed by the Amboli Police regarding her husband Adil Durrani's complaint about the alleged showing of his private videos. 'Rakhi Sawant was granted interim protection today from the sessions court against FIR filed by Amboli Police on the complaint of her husband, Adil Durrani, under section 67A for allegedly showing his private nude videos to media', shared her attorney, Ali Kaashif Khan, who had filed a petition for her anticipatory bail. During the court hearing, the prosecution objected to Rakhi receiving any kind of relief in their response. The prosecution stated that their investigation was ongoing, and they needed to identify the person who created and shared the video. However, in its judgement, the court granted relief to the 'Main Hoon Na' actress saying, 'In such circumstances, if the matter is to be adjourned on the instance of the informant (Durrani), then it is just and proper to protect the applicant (Sawant) till the next date.' The judge also directed the investigating officer not to take any coercive steps against the actress. Rakhi's request for anticipatory bail will now be reconsidered on December 7.
