3:23Now PlayingActress Kriti Sanon took to her social media handle and slammed 'fake' news reports claiming that the actress promoted 'trading platforms' on Karan Johar's chat show. Kriti shared clarification on her Instagram stories and called such articles 'defamatory'. She wrote, 'There have been several articles reporting false news about me promoting some trading platforms at Koffee with Karan. These articles are completely fake and false and have been published with a dishonest and mala fide intent. These articles are defamatory and are falsely associating me with the trading platforms.' Kriti further stated that she has taken legal action against such 'false articles' and also shared screenshots of some articles with 'Fake news alert' written over it. She added, 'I have never spoken regarding any trading platform on the show. I have taken legal action against such false articles and reports and issued legal notice. I request everyone to be cautious against such false, fake and defamatory reports.' On the work front, Kriti will soon be seen sharing screen space with Shahid Kapoor in a yet-to-be-titled film.
