Now, this controversy surrounding the gritty crime thriller has even reached Parliament. Yes. Recently, an MP from Chhattisgarh, Ranjeet Ranjan lashed out at the film for its content and said that her daughter came out of the theatres crying after watching the film. 'Cinema is a mirror of society. Nowadays some such films are coming, if you start from 'Kabir Singh' to 'Pushpa' and now a picture is going on 'Animal'. My daughter cried in half the movie and got up from the hall and left', said Ranjan. She also added, 'These pictures, this violence in presenting these negative roles, have an impact on our 11th and 12th standard children nowadays and is a very thought-provoking topic.' Not just that, she also slammed the makers for using the song 'Arjan Vailly' song in the film. Meanwhile, speaking about the movie, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial 'Animal' is having a dream run at the box office, collecting over Rs 500 crore in just six days.
