3:06Now PlayingFormer Narcotics Control Bureau Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has shared insights into his conversations with Shah Rukh Khan. Sameer led the drug investigation involving Aryan, the son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Wankhede declined to discuss Shah Rukh Khan directly. When asked about the 'father-to-father talks' with SRK, Wankhede expressed empathy for the parents of individuals involved in drug consumption. He stated, 'I won't talk about him (SRK), but whenever we take action against someone, we feel bad for their parents and relatives, especially if that person has consumed drugs or is in the habit of it. You feel that the person must be sent to rehab.' Wankhede included his purported conversations with SRK in an affidavit for a CBI case after being accused of attempting to extort Rs 25 crore from the actor to secure Aryan's release. Aryan Khan was apprehended in the alleged drug bust on the Cordelia cruise ship on October 2, 2021. Subsequently, the NCB submitted a chargesheet in the cruise drug case, implicating 14 individuals while giving a clean chit to Aryan Khan.
