Shweta Singh Kirti on late brother Sushant Singh Rajput's battle in Bollywood and CBI investigation

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, recently claimed that her brother was never fully accepted in Bollywood. While speaking to Ranveer Allahbadia, Shweta alleged that 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' didn't receive much attention because it clashed with the release of a star kid's movie. She expressed, 'When MS Dhoni was released, an actor’s son’s film also hit the screens. Everyone was praising that person, writing about him, but nobody was acknowledging Sushant. This used to affect him. If you are childlike inside and have done something commendable, you would want people to appreciate you so that you feel uplifted. He never received that kind of acceptance in Bollywood. I was in India, and we were sitting together when he told me about this. That movie wasn’t even doing that well, and he shared his feelings with me.' During the conversation, Shweta Singh Kirti also discussed the CBI inquiry into SSR's death case and appealed for an expedited investigation. She said, 'There should be some sensitivity. There’s a family that has gone through such grief, not knowing what happened to their brother. They should feel sensitive and at least communicate with us. We pleaded for the CBI inquiry. We know nothing as of now. Imagine how we would feel. We were very hopeful regarding CBI. We are still hopeful that they will reveal everything. I am not an investigator; I cannot delve into the case. I was not allowed to enter Bhai’s flat. I haven’t seen his flat where it all happened. I cannot investigate. I want CBI to inform us about what happened. Whatever happened, provide us with proof and let us know.' Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020.
