This incident raised concerns about the proliferation of deepfake videos, especially during the political season. Interestingly, Ranveer's father vehemently denied the actor's affiliation with any political party. The FIR, encompassing relevant IPC sections and provisions of the IT Act, underscored the severity of the offense.
