Band displayed anti-Israel slogans on big screen at a music festival outside Paris on Sunday. Crowd echoed Kneecap's sentiments as band ignored French Jewish groups and the government's objections. 'Free, Free Palestine!' chants echoed through the venue packed with several thousands. Performance was briefly halted as many whistled in protest, with security removing demonstrators. Local authorities withdrew their subsidies from event after organisers kept Kneecap on programme. French municipality of Saint-Cloud for the first time withdrew its 40,000-euro ($47,000) subsidy.
