According to the Mexico City Secretariat of Public Safety, Dorcaz was attacked during an attempted robbery after leaving a dance rehearsal for “Las Estrellas Bailan En Hoy” — a popular Mexican competition show. Authorities say he was shot in the neck and died instantly at the scene. CCTV footage captured four suspects fleeing on motorcycles, but no arrests have been made. The show’s producers released a heartfelt tribute, calling him “a bright soul whose passion will live on.” Watch.
