3:11Now PlayingA shocking twist in the Charlie Kirk tragedy — MAGA supporters have reportedly been scammed out of thousands of dollars by a website that used his name. Just hours after Kirk’s assassination, a site called CharliesMurderers.com appeared online, claiming it would “expose those responsible” and name Kirk’s enemies. Within days, the site collected over $30,000 in cryptocurrency donations, supposedly to fund a “data project” with “Fortune 500 and Big Tech scientists.” But soon after the money was raised, the domain vanished and the linked X profile went silent. The group briefly rebranded as the “Charlie Kirk Data Foundation”, but hasn’t posted or appeared publicly since September 24. Now, furious MAGA supporters are calling it a “heartless exploitation” of a man they saw as a hero — and a warning sign for how online scams prey on tragedy.
