Italian fashion influencer and businesswoman Chiara Ferragni appeared in court on Tuesday in Milan, as her fraud trial continues. Ferragni was charged with aggravated fraud, following a probe into purportedly charitable sales of traditional Christmas cakes, sold with her logo. She was fined by Italy's anti-trust authority over the scandal. It said her company led consumers to believe that sales of the branded Balocco pandoro cakes would result in a charitable contribution to a Turin hospital.
