Autrey Chair in Social Sciences, Professor of Sociology, and Director of the Boniuk Institute for the Study and Advancement of Religious Tolerance at Rice University. She is internationally recognized for her research on the intersection of science, religion, and public life. Dr. Ecklund has authored multiple acclaimed books, including Science vs. Religion: What Scientists Really Think and Religion in a Changing Workplace. Her newest work, Working for Better, co-authored with Denise Daniels, draws on one of the largest datasets ever collected on faith in the workplace.
