According to a new report by the New York times, as recently as last week, Donald Trump's favorite lawyer, Rudy Giuliani actually talked to Trump himself about the possibility of receiving a presidential. Pardon, you know, just in case Rudy had committed some crimes that may come delight later. See, this was a preemptive, pardon that Rudy was asking for, not for anything specific, but you know, you go about your daily business sometimes. Oops. Until he committed a federal crime there, dad, nobody's going to notice what no, no, that that's not how normal people operate. Right. I mean, please tell me that everybody watching this, isn't worried about accidentally committing a federal crime on a daily basis, but apparently that's a fear that Rudy Giuliani has and I'll get to why he has that fear in a moment. So the president could issue a pardon that says, basically I pardon you for any federal crime. You may have committed from, uh, let's say January of 1990 to December of 2020. So a good 30 year span. If you committed a crime in that period, I don't even have to know what it is. I'm just saying if it happened, you're officially pardoned. If you accept the pardon, then any investigation that uncovers a crime federal wise, uh, cannot prosecute you cause you're pardoned for it. Pretty bow, uh, broad pardon powers and Rudy Giuliani understands that. So why would he even bother? Why would Rudy Giuliani think that he may have committed a federal crime? Because there's a very high probability that Rudy Giuliani has in fact committed federal crimes.
