YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe recent revelations about Donald Trump's abuse of power are not at all surprising, but instead they complete the picture of a man so desperate and hungry for power that he would do anything to maintain it. You know, there's something that's been bothering me. Um, actually for a couple of years, at this point, I've been in this industry for 17 years, right? Started in the first w Bush administration, his first term, and when Bush left office, when Obama came in office Bush was universally hated across the country. We knew that that administration authorized what amounts to war crimes, uh, with their actions in the middle east and black sites all over the country. And we knew that Bush should have been prosecuted for this
And many
Called for that in the early days of the Obama administration, Obama chose to do nothing about it.
And over time, the public for God, not
Just for God, but they seem to forgive him. Especially when Trump came along, suddenly Bush didn't look so bad anymore. With all of his war crimes,
He gets to hang
Out at baseball games, with Ellen to generous. He gets to paint fun, little pictures and talk about how bad the Republican party has become. And everybody heralds him as a hero. Now forgetting everything he did. We can't let that same thing happen with Donald Trump. And I know right now that seems like something that would never ever happen. But again, in that first year of the Obama administration, nobody would have even imagined that George W. Bush would be remade and would be accepted by anyone in this country, outside of his own family. Nobody thought that would happen, but it did. And I'm worried that the same thing is going to happen with Donald Trump. When we look at all the new information that has come out over the last few weeks about how Donald Trump routinely abused his power, use the DOJ to spy on his own white house counsel, to spy on Democrats in Congress, to spy on certain members of the press that he thought were a little too hostile to him.
This man abused his power every step of the way, using the DOJ, trying to pressure them into investigating his bogus claims of voter fraud, dang near, got him to do it. Yeah, that's just what we've learned in the last two weeks folks, since he left off fish, we can't, I forgive him for this. We can't forgive him for the January 6th insurrection. We can't forgive him for still spreading the big lie. We cannot forgive him for trying to pressure you crane. We can't forgive him for all of the obstruction of justice. We can't forgive him for the trade war. We can't forgive them for the anti LGBTQ policies that he put in place. We can't forgive him for things like putting Betsy Devoss in there. Ben Carson, Andrew Wheeler, Scott Pruitt, Mike Palm, PEO Trump gave us all that. Now I'm not saying he's the blame for the problems with the Republican party, but this man can be allowed to be remade. And the only way we prevent that is with prosecutions, because if he is not held accountable,
I promise you four years from now, maybe eight years from now, he'll be rubbing elbows with liberals
And conservatives alike, and everybody will look back and say, well, maybe he wasn't so bad after all. We can't let that happen. It happened with
Bush because we didn't hold them accountable and we have to do better with Trump. Yeah.
