Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but Politico is reporting that those closest to DeSantis say that he's wary of his meteoric rise in popularity because he doesn't want to upset Donald Trump. DeSantis recently beat Trump in a vital straw poll, and he is quickly becoming the frontrunner for Republicans for the 2024 nomination.
