According to Michael Wolff's new book, Donald Trump was annoyed that Rudy Giuliani wanted to be paid for his legal work in filing challenges to the 2020 election, and he has also effectively cut off Giuliani. This is what happens when you try to make nice with someone that views other human beings as a means to an end - once the end is achieved, you no longer serve a purpose. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Another excerpt from Michael Wolfe's forthcoming book was released this past weekend. And this excerpt talked about the fact that Donald Trump was annoyed that his good buddy, Rudy Giuliani actually wanted to be paid for all the legal work that he had been doing for Donald Trump. Now, this isn't a, as far as we know, related to any of the legal work of defending him from the impeachment, this is all the legal work that Giuliani did to completely destroy his reputation and credibility by challenging the results of the 2020 presidential election, a move that also got Giuliani hit with a $1.3 billion defamation suit. And he never even got paid for it. And Trump was actually mad, like legitimately, according to this book, mad that Giuliani even wanted to get paid. Like what the hell is wrong with you? What do you think I owe you money for

Now? Listen,

I'm kind of going to both sides this a little bit, because in Trump's defense, which may be the only time I've ever uttered that phrase, but in Trump's defense, why should Giuliani be paid? Right? You went out there, you made a complete fool of yourself. You had the one point where your hair was melting on live television. Another where you're speaking in front of the, the flower shop, the landscaping company, whatever it was, the four seasons landscaping. Yeah, you're a complete and total idiot. And Donald Trump probably could have filed a legal malpractice suit against you and easily won it. On the other hand, in Giuliani's defense Trump, he did do the work he gave you his time. He gave you his energy. He gave you his, uh, legal expertise. I guess we have to call it. He did go to court. You know, he went to hearings, uh, congressional hearings across the country and state houses.

You know, he did these things for you. So you kind of have to pay him really. There's no way around it. If Giuliani wanted to get paid, all he would have to do, you know, is hit Donald Trump with the lawsuit. He didn't pay his legal bills. He needs to pay his legal bills, but that's not gonna happen because Giuliani is definitely afraid of Donald Trump. And it's funny because there's literally no reason for him to be Donald. Trump does not hold any power in the United States in any capacity anymore. There's literally nothing the man could do to him.

But Giuliani is still scared.

So Giuliani, who as we've reported in recent weeks is already facing massive legal bills because of all of the, uh, you know, investigations going on into Giuliani's, uh, you know, business he's facing major legal bills. He's not getting paid from the last little bit of legal work. He did. It's a horror show right now for Rudy Giuliani. But I gotta tell ya, and we've been telling you this from the start. If you try to work with Donald Trump, this is what he does to you see Donald Trump doesn't view

Human beings as human beings. You're a tool. And I don't

Mean that in the you're a tool sense. I mean, you are a tool, an object that Donald Trump uses

As a means to an end.

And when that end is achieved or when it becomes apparent that that end cannot be achieved,

The tool is no longer useful.

The tool gets tossed out. You do not need it anymore. And therefore in Donald Trump's world, it does not exist. And that's what's happening to Rudy Giuliani because in addition to not getting paid,

Uh, for his legal services, the book also says the Giuliani

Has been cut off from the entire Trump family.

They cast them out just like a, you know, a tool you no longer need.

There's no use for it. It can't be of benefit to you, to you personally.

So you throw it away. Giuliani is learning that the hard way,

But still plenty of time for other people to learn that lesson that Giuliani should've learned

Years ago and apply it to your own lives. When the chips

Are down, Trump's not going to come to your aid. He's not going to come to your defense. It doesn't matter how much you put on the line for him. He's not going to reciprocate in any way.
