During an appearance on Fox News this past weekend, Donald Trump heaped praise upon the individuals who stormed the Capitol building on January 6th. He called them "patriots" and "peaceful," adding that you could feel the "love in the air." This kind of rhetoric - commending the people who broke the law and caused several lives to be lost in the process - all but guarantees more violence in the future. Farron Cousins discusses this.

Before Donald Trump's idiotic rambling in coherent and life filled speech at CPAC. He actually appeared on Fox news that morning. He went on Fox news Sunday morning, where he did something far worse than what he did in his CPAC speech. He praised the insurrectionists

Who stormed the Capitol on January 6th.

Here's what he says.

They were there for one reason, the rigged election, they felt the election was Rick. Yeah. They felt the election was rigged because you kept lying to them and telling them that you idiot. They were peaceful people. These were great people. The crowd was unbelievable. And I mentioned the word, love the love in the air. I've never seen anything like it. He said fondly to me what? This does this quote from him, this appearance on Fox news confirms all of those reports that we've seen over the

Last few months of Trump watching the insurrection on TV and loving every second

Of it, being happy about it being almost giddy that this was happening. And furthermore, what these words do is it basically ensures that we're going to have another attack somewhere. They did this for him. He's right. The love was in the air. They did it because they love him. They did it because they have effectively been brainwashed by him and his minions. And they did it because they believed this is what he wanted them to do. And it's clear now that it really does seem like this is what he wanted them to do, but by going out and actively praising them. And of course lying about what happened. These were not peaceful individuals and people died here. And of course, one of the people who died, Ashley Babbitt, he went on to, to, to praise her, to talk about how it was unfair that she died.

She didn't die, you know, just because she died, she died because she believed his lie. Okay. That's that's, that's basically the cause of her death. The officer was out of line. The officer should not have shot her. Don't get me wrong. I've said that repeatedly. But if she hadn't believed Trump's lies, she wouldn't have been there in the first place. Just like all of these other individuals, hundreds of them now awaiting trial, you know, $6 million granted to the DOJ to come up with a database, the better deal with all of the prosecutions they have to do. Now that actually happened yesterday. These were not peaceful individuals. The love was in the air, but it was only love for Donald Trump. And it was hatred of anything that stood between them and Donald Trump being president of the United States. These were individuals who bought into the big lie thinking.

It's the truth that were egged on earlier in that day by conservatives who knew exactly what they were doing. They may not have said it explicitly, which may protect them, you know, from any kind of legal peril. But they knew who these people were. They knew how unhinged these individuals were. And when you're dealing with people like that, sometimes all it takes is a push, whether they meant to or not. You know, I can't say for certain that anybody who spoke out or organized the stop, the steer rally, I cannot say that they intended for that to happen. Okay. We don't know we're not inside their heads, but we do know that the individuals that attended this rally, we do know that they all believe the lie and that they carried out this capital riot because they believed lie. And now that Trump is out there, praising them, showing them that he appreciated it. This is exactly what Homeland security has been warning us about. This could cause another attack, how the judge is overseeing the cases against these people have been warning us about this, that as long as the lie exists, as long as Trump keeps telling us, these people are going to do it again. And at this point, I firmly believe now that Trump has openly publicly praise them for doing this. I truly believe

It's only a matter of time before it happens again.
