Fox news host Tucker Carlson got torn a new one this week by a former Fox news reporter by the name of Carl Cameron. Now, Mr. Cameron, speaking to CNN was talking about Tucker Carlson's attacks on the COVID vaccine, downplaying of the overall pandemic, and basically telling his lemmings everything's okay. Don't worry about the pandemic. Here's what Mr. Cameron had to say. It's about ratings and ratings ultimately become revenue. And that's the name of the game. Whoever gets the most clicks on social media makes the most money gets the most fame gets the most attention and that type of activity is not journalism. It's not news. It's gaslighting. It's propaganda. There here gets a little more intense. It makes no sense whatsoever. This is literally the metaphor of the lemmings running to their own slaughter. People who are listening to that sort of stuff. Instead of the science, that goes way back lemmings to their own slaughter.

Could there be a more perfect metaphor for what Fox news? At least some of the hosts. I know a couple of them like Sean Hannity doosey have soften their language, but could there be a more perfect metaphor for what a lot of these people at Fox news are doing? You're you're literally killing off your own audience. My God, how many, how many times do we have to see, uh, a headline? You know, Trump supporter who spread COVID conspiracy theories dies of COVID anti-vaxxer who spent 17 days on a ventilator dies of COVID. Those are literally two headlines that I pulled up earlier today.

The, these individuals who are making wrong decisions are doing it because they're being fed the lies and the propaganda and the misinformation. And yes, a good deal of that is coming from Fox news. They're literally killing their own audience. And I think that's why you have seen like Sean Hannity Monday night came out and said people, Hey, I trust the vaccine science get vaccinated. If you can. Earlier that day, Steve dues, he says, folks, please get vaccinated. If you can, they understand what they're doing to people. I don't think they're worried honestly, about any kind of liability. I don't think they're worried about being sued. There's plenty of media protections that would really prevent any meaningful action against them. I think they're starting to get concerned that, oh my God, our audience really is the most at risk of COVID we're going to get them killed.

And then we don't have jobs. If we kill off everybody who listens to us, there's nobody left to listen to us. I think that's, what's going through the heads of these Fox people. Of course, there's also the recent reports that the Biden administration has been working with Fox news, talking with them about their COVID coverage. So I'm sure that's going to unleash. God knows many conspiracy theories from Boyle Fox viewers mad that they're now being told to get vaccinated. But at the end of the day, Mr. Cameron here is right. People like Tucker Carlson are leading their little lemmings to slaughter. You see it happen to Newsmax. You see it happen at one America. You see it happening from all these other individual personalities on the right, trying to downplay the pandemic, trying to upsell vaccine concerns, ignoring the fact that more than 99% of the people dying from COVID right now are unvaccinated.

It's not that difficult. Folks. If you have questions about the vaccine about its efficacy or safety, talk to a medical professional, don't talk to some dumb or listen to the idiotic advice from people wearing beanies on Twitter or in their YouTube videos. Don't take it from idiot, Fox news hosts who have likely been vaccinated, but don't want to tell you the truth about that. Don't take it from idiot right-wingers or even left-wingers who get kicked off of social media regularly for spreading lies about the pandemic. Talk to frigging doctors. I cannot say that enough and I will not say that enough. I will continue to echo the sentiments every time I talk about this, because it's that important, don't be a lemming.
