Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz launched his podcast this week, and it was as horrible as you would expect. The podcast, called Firebrand Podcast, was little more than Matt Gaetz whining about the investigation he's facing and the fact that he isn't allowed on Fox News anymore. He also scored an interview with his best friend Marjorie Taylor Greene, which was a complete horror show. Farron Cousins discusses the new podcast and why it is the perfect transition for Gaetz's career.

This week Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz released the very first episode of his brand new podcast called firebrand podcast. The podcast is named after his book, which is also called firebrand. And he promised at the start of his podcast that he would, uh, quote, make listeners the smartest person in every political debate by giving details. Nobody else has any strategy to use them. Wow. Right out the gate, super strong, right. You're going to listen to this podcast. You're going to come the smartest person in any political debate. So I am excited folks. Let's dive right into the information that he gave us to be the smartest person in it. But wait, there wasn't any, Nope. Didn't give us any information. That's really going to help in any political debate ever. He basically spent almost the entire 50 minute podcast whining about how miserable his life is.

That's really the best way to describe it. He of course, went into detail about how the deep state is out to get him with this investigation and how it's totally fraudulent. Totally false. None of it is true. And it's very clear from what he had to say, that he is terrified. He's terrified because all of his friends are cooperating. Uh, his ex-girlfriend, you know, all these people working against him, essentially in this investigation. And even though it's been quiet for quite a while, he still not out of the woods and he's terrified, oh, he also, by the way, went on to complain about how terrible Jim Jordan's life is and debunk the rumors about him not helping to expose sexual misconduct back when he was a wrestling coach, assistant wrestling coach, uh, at Ohio state. It was, yeah, that's also not true. According to quite possibly every single witness account.

And he's actually also been mentioned in multiple lawsuits, filed against the university. Matt, come on, dude, come up with something better. And then of course he whined about the fact that he's no longer allowed on Fox news. And Fox news has been taken over by the rhinos, the Republicans in name only. And they're just so mean to him, completely admitting the fact that let's not forget his last appearance on Fox news, uh, which was the day his scandal broke because it all ties in together, uh, where he went on Tucker Carlson's program and said, Tucker, remember the time we went out to dinner and I had this young woman with me, you were there in Tucker, just sat there like, uh, and then Tucker came back from break. It was like folks that was the weirdest interview I've ever had.

And we never saw Matt gates on Fox. Again,

He has not been on the network

Since then. And he's.

So now he's relegated to these other media outlets who certainly do not have the reach influence Raven production quality as Fox news has. And he's about it. So we whined about that for a while, but then folks got to the good part, the big interview, right? Who boy, he is a Republican Congressman. He is known coast to coast. Well, outside of his district, unlike most members of Congress. So he had to have landed somebody. Good. Right? Did he get Trump? Did he get Giuliani? Did he get Sidney Powell? Did he get Ted Nugent? Nope. He went over to his best friend's office, Marjorie Taylor green, and interviewed her and asked her if she would be willing to except her old committee assignments back. If they were offered to her, to which she said, hell no, I'm much better working on the outside. And I think what she really meant to say is, oh, hell no, I don't want to have to do work. I don't know what I'm doing. So there you have it folks that is a complete rundown of the entire first episode of Matt gates Fest, because that's what it was. The dude was whining about his life. The entire time. Nobody listening to that podcast is going to become the smartest person in every debate. As Matt gates had promised, I can only fathom to think what is going to come from the next episode. What else is left for him to whine about? I'm sure. He'll think of something.
