24 Republican Attorneys General Plan To Sue Biden Over Very Legal Vaccine Mandates

Even though the Supreme Court settled the matter more than 100 years ago, a group of 24 Republican state Attorneys General have announced that they plan to sue President Biden over his recent vaccine mandates. The law is perfectly clear that Biden has the authority to do this, and the Republicans know it, but they have to put on a brave face for their base in order to win votes. 24 state Republican attorneys, general threatened late last week to Sue the Biden administration over the recently announced vaccine mandates, uh, coming from this administration 24, all Republicans, all attorneys general. So they actually know what the law is. They're just trying to make a political stand, to win more votes from their idiotic base because here's the thing the Supreme court already settled this matter, literally more than 115 years ago. Okay. 116 years ago, the Supreme court ruled that government does have the authority to put these vaccine mandates in place in order to protect the population. Not only that, but there are what are called police powers that governments, including the federal government can implement. If it is within the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the general public, which these vaccine mandates are. And let's also not forget the fact that these mandates aren't even technically mandates because for the private employers, with more than 100 people working for them, you can opt out.

You just get tested once a week. So you sit there for your rapid test, 15 minutes and you go back to work for the next week. You do it again the next Monday, or whenever, whatever testing day they have. And you're fine. You don't even have to get the vaccine. You just have to be tested so that if you test positive, they can be like, okay, Hey, cool. You got to go to the quarantine. You can't come into the building. We don't want you to spread it around, but Hey, we caught it early. Get your treatment, get better. Come back. When you're clear, everything's going to be good. You're not losing your job because you're submitting to the testing and you're good to go. That's it. I don't even understand how Republicans are having such a hard time with that. Well, actually I do because they're misrepresenting what the vaccine mandate actually is in order to appeal to their base because the base doesn't understand it because their base chooses to not understand it.

You know, they like to conveniently overlook the testing part of it. And they just want to make it seem like Nope, Biden says everybody in the country has to get a shot. And then if you don't get the shot, you lose your job. That's not what's happening. And these 24 Republican attorneys general know that. And they also know that the law is not on their side, which by the way, is why they're threatening the lawsuits instead of immediately filing them. Because we have seen some really bad laws and the COVID era, which I guess is what we now have to call the times we live in the COVID era. And almost immediately, when some of these bad laws get put in place, like, you know, bans on mask mandates, they get challenged in court as like immediately Biden's thing, not so fast, right? Is Republicans are kind of slow walking it like, ah, we may have to do this.

Don't make us do this. And the reason is because they're trying to talk tough in front of their base. They're trying to show their base like, Hey, listen, we're out there fighting for you, man. We're not gonna stand for this. Right. So, uh, we're gonna threaten them. Let me see if they back off it. And then if they don't, oh, I swear to God, we're going to, we're going to hammer them in court. But you know, I mean, you know, the deep state and all that, eh, probably won't work, but we're going to do it so far as I know, nobody has actually blamed the deep state yet, but that's what Republicans want to think. Right? They want their base to think that the deck is stacked against them. And even though they have righteousness on their side, it's destined to fail. No, it's not destined to fail because of some kind of deep state conspiracy or because the deck is stacked against you. It's destined to fail because the law's already settled and has been settled for 116 years here in the United States. These attorneys general know that they're just banking on their base, not knowing it.
