Republican mega donor Ken Griffin is done with Donald Trump, and he wants the rest of the donor class to come along with him. A Republican mega donor by the name of Ken Griffin has decided that he's not in favor of Donald Trump running again in 2024. And basically has announced that if Trump is the nominee in 2024, or if he runs in 2024, he's not going to give him a dime. Griffin believes that it's time for the Republican party to move on from Donald Trump. Let's see what else is out there. Let's see what other candidates we may be able to come up with. Griffin says, and Griffin would like to see other Republican donors do the same thing. Don't throw your money behind Donald Trump. We did that and it didn't work out so well for us in 2020. Here's the problem Griffin has apparently already made his choice on who to support in 2024, because Griffin has been pouring an awful lot of money into Florida, governor Ron DeSantis. So that's terrifying enough.

Ron DeSantis is just as bad as Donald Trump, just not as abrasive to the public. Oh, he's still pretty abrasive. Trust me, just nowhere near the obscene level that we had with Donald Trump. So the big thing here is in American politics, statistically, the candidate that raises the most money is the candidate that wins the election. Now there are exceptions to that rule obviously, but statistics don't lie. And if you have the most money, you are far more likely to be successful in your political endeavors. So if Mr. Griffin here is able to get other Republican mega donors to join in on his little crusade, to not give money to Trump and to give it to other people that could pave the way for somebody like Ron DeSantis could pave the way for, uh, uh, Josh, Holly, uh, Ted Cruz, uh, Kirsty gnome, all these other little wannabe Republican leaders out there who are still testing the waters about whether or not they want to run in 20, 24, but the money is already talking.

And we're not even a year into the Biden administration at this point. But stories like this, about these Republican donors, not giving money to Trump, they are coming fast and furious right now because the moneyed interests understand that Trump can't win the election, even running against let's assume Biden also, you know, runs for reelection. Uh, even though, you know, he had said at one point he probably just be a one-term or, and you know, he's older, he's up there. His health may not be enough to where he says, yes, I'm definitely running again, but either way, I still don't think Trump has a huge, great chance of beating Joe Biden, not with his history. And apparently I'm not the only one that thinks that the big money Republican donors like Ken Griffin, or also thinking the same thing. That's why they want to go with other candidates, but they're not going with cooler heads.

They're going with people who would basically enact the same kind of policies we saw under Donald Trump, except their Twitter feeds might not be as embarrassing and hateful as what we saw out of Donald. And that's where we are today. Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, right? Not just the public, but really these donors, because you want somebody that's going to have the policies of Donald Trump. You just want it to be in a little bit of a nicer wrapper. So we're going to end up with a Republican nominee in 2024. I am firmly convinced that is just as bad as Donald Trump, but may not seem like it on the surface. And that unfortunately is going to allow the media to go out there and craft a narrative of, oh, well, they're more of a moderate Republican. They're not as abrasive. They're better than Trump. They're not the same in any way. I look at all the people who are, you know, either testing the water or toying with the possibility of running in 2024. And you'll find that when it comes to policy, there is no difference between any of these people or Donald Trump. The only difference we're going to see is which person, which candidate, the big money donors get behind. And right now it's looking like that's going to be not Donald Trump, but Ron DeSantis instead.
