The real irony is that America could be over COVID if it weren't for people like Jordan who have been downplaying the significance of the virus and the effectiveness of the vaccines, as Farron Cousins explains.

Republican representative, Jim Jordan says that America is done with COVID. That is what he tweeted out last week here. Let me just, I gotta read the exact quote here. Real America is done with COVID 19. The only people who don't understand that are Fauci and Biden. Well, that's good news, right? I mean, thank God. You know, this is a long, long pandemic. I'm glad we're all, you know, ready to be over this. And it's not like there's a new variant out there. That's sweeping across the country. Oh, oh no, no, there are. It's not like we're getting a hundred thousand average cases a day in COVID. Uh, Nope, we are that too. Uh, it's not like, you know, well, Hey, at least Republicans in red districts, aren't dying at a six time higher rate than those counties that voted for Biden. No, no, shoot. That, that is actually happening too.

Huh? So what does this mean? That real America's done with COVID because C's still here. And part of the reason it's still here is because of morons like Jim Jordan. Again, we would all love for COVID to be over. I think if any, one of us could wave a magic wand and have COVID disappear overnight, we would, we would gladly do that without any hesitation at all. Buddy wants this, except maybe the drug companies. They're making lots of money, but the rest of the public, no matter which side of the aisle, they're on, no matter which side of the vaccine issue, they fall on, whether the truth or misinformation side, everybody wants it to be over. We want to get back to normal. We want to go out, have fun. See our friends meet in large groups, laugh, do fun things again, without having to worry about a pandemic.

But we can't to the degree that we used to because of people like Jim Jordan COVID is not over. And I don't know what the hell he means real America. Cuz as I mentioned, we now know that in red counties, counties that voted for Donald Trump, they're dying at a six times, uh, uh, the rate of the blue counties that voted for Biden. This has now become a disease that is mostly affecting Republicans. People like Jim Jordan, people who vote for Jim Jordan, your a own people, your constituents, your followers, your supporters, and your donors are dying off at an alarming rate. And you're out there telling us on social media that it's over, that we're through with it. Everybody except Fauci and Biden. This is the kind of talking point the it gets people killed. And again, you are killing your people. Six times faster than Democrats are killing theirs and Hey to their credit.

At least Democrats are trying to do something about it. They're not the party of misinformation about the virus or the vaccine. They're not the party that's out there saying, go and throw away your mask or burn it in protest. They're telling people to take care of one another and I am very interested. And I talked about this on Monday, over at ring of fire. I am interested to see how this is going to play out in the, uh, midterms. Because again, this is now a disease that is killing Republicans six times faster than it's killing Democrats. So how does that work for you? How does that work when they go to the polls next year? But you've got a couple hundred thousand fewer Republicans than you were expecting because you killed them with misinformation. That's what's happening here. Super curious to see how that's gonna work. Also a little appall that Republicans don't even seem to care about this they're out there. Literally pretending this isn't happening, pretending their base is not dying off at a staggering rate. You'll we're helping this happen. Jim Jordan and all of these other Republicans trying to downplay it. We all want it to be over, but we're never gonna hit that point unless the misinformation stops. And right now with the misinformation coming from people at the top, which unfortunately is people like Jim Jordan and we may never actually hit that point.
