'Stop The Steal' Organizer Avoids Jail By Turning Against His Friends

A "Stop the Steal" rally organizer named Brandon Straka could likely avoid any jail time after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge from the January 6th Capitol Riot. The reason for the leniency? Straka is apparently being a good little cooperating witness and handing over all the dirt on other people involved. One of the organizers of the stop, the steel rally that of course preceded the January 6th capital riot last year, a man by the name of Brandon Strauka has been such a good little cooperating witness that even though he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unruly or disorderly conduct inside the capital building on January 6th, he's unlikely to face any jail time. In fact, that is what prosecutors are recommending based on his level of cooperation. Prosecutors came out this past week and said, listen, I know you're heading for a sentencing hearing, but judge this guy's given us a lot of good info. He has cooperated sat down with us several times and every time been very cooperative. He's given us all of his communications about that day. We've got a lot of good information to work with here. So maybe just give him a couple months of home confinement and we're good to go.

There's no need to send this guy to J B cuz again, totally a good little cooperating witness, right? And you know, can't fault him. I am not saying any of this to fault Brandon strata or to imply in any way that he did the wrong thing. What I find hilarious about it though, is that strata clearly is worry that he's gonna ruin his conservative cred because he's issued a statement trying to downplay his cooperation. Here's what he said. As we get close to the finish line with much of this, a coordinated effort has been made by the media to create a ridiculous story that is trying to make me sound untrustworthy to a conservative audience. I'm not going to lie. I worried about it for several days. I wondered if my people would fall for their BS, with the exception of about five people. Literally nobody did.

Everybody's had the same response. We know what they're trying to do it. Isn't working. Don't worry. Brandon, just get through this. We're all waiting for you. On the other side. Now he issued that statement on new year's Eve. By the way, he then met again with the, uh, prosecutors on January 5th where they said again, he was very cooperative. So this guy knows what he's doing. Right? He understands like, oh crap. I am ratting everybody out. The media's talking about this. They're gonna be so at me. Oh, let me write this tape, man. Like totally not happening. I am not being a good cooperating witness. And I do love the fact that prosecutors in this, you know, sentencing recommendation are like, Hey, this guy is great. We love him. If you ever need anything, trust me, you go to Brandon strata and he's gonna give you whatever you want, man. He was easier to roll over than a rotting log. And that's pretty much how it is, right? Brandon, you, you rolled pretty quickly and again, totally not faulting you for that. Somebody had to.

And that is the opportunity by the way that Mr Strauka took. Because if he wasn't the one who rolled prosecutors, would've simply found somebody else who would, and that likely would've resulted in an actual prison sentence for Mr. Strauka here. So he did the right thing. He did the right thing to protect himself and, and, and you can't be mad at somebody for doing that, but there's no honor among thieves. So yeah, you're gonna these people off. Dude. Self-preservation always tends to kind of people off, especially when it does come across, as you know, exceptionally selfish, selling out your friends. I mean kind of trying to not own what happened that day when you helped organize that stop the steel rally. But Hey, you know what good for you, man. Just don't try to lie to your base, lie to your audience about what you've done own it. Be, be honest, tell people what happened and why you did it. Honestly, you may find they're a little more understanding than you may give them credit for.
