Newsmax host Eric Bolling didn't mince words this past week when he called out Fox News host Tucker Carlson for his blatantly pro-Putin tilt. Carlson's program and monologues have been shown on Russian state TV for many months now, and he is widely viewed as being integral to their propaganda campaigns. But having Newsmax call him out is a new low for Carlson, as Farron Cousins explains.

Since even before Russia officially invaded Ukraine, about two months ago, Russian state TV had actually started airing clips from Tucker Carlson's program on their state run media to show that, Hey, even the United States, people are supporting what we're about to do. And apparently there's still occasionally running Tucker Carlson Clipse, because Carlson appears to be a huge supporter of Putin based on the content that he's putting out every night. And if you don't believe me, then how about we take the word a former Fox news host slash current news, max host Eric bowling because Eric bowling came out at the end of last week, calling out Tucker Carlson for his very obvious pro Putin propaganda, apologies for the alliteration there. Here's what Eric bowling had to say. My compadre continues to push falsehoods that Putin and his prop are exploiting to show that yes, some Americans do indeed side with Russia in this war.

Is that the side of history you want to be on? There are far too many wars right here in our own country, but isn't it possible? Oh, I'm sorry. I don't wanna get into that point. I'll get into that in a moment. Um, I wanna be very clear for our audience I'm anti-war and I believe we should always secure America's interest first and foremost. And that of the lives of our own citizens of American citizens should matter more than any other. Sorry, but that's true. Blatant and horrifying war crimes committed by Russians against Ukrainian civilians have made it very clear that yes, this war is in fact more black and white now than ever. If we say anything, otherwise, then we are on the wrong side of history, maybe for the first time ever. I agree with Eric bowling. Those are actually well thought out.

Good points. We do know that Russia is committing war crimes over in Ukraine. Tucker Carlson doesn't wanna address that Tucker Carlson's guests don't wanna address that. And unfortunately, a lot of folks here in the United States claiming to be on the left, but they've gone so far left. They're actually on the right. They wanna act like, nah, Russia's the good guys here. Ukrainians full of horrible, bad people. There's bad people in every country. You dip. There's bad people here in the United. You wanna see one, go look in the mirror. There you go. That doesn't excuse what Russia is doing. What Russia's doing is 100% wrong, illegal unethical. And a lot of it does, you know, kind of blur the lines between war crime and not war crime. And a lot of it blatantly crosses that line. But Tucker Carl Carlson doesn't care, Tucker Carlson for some reason has found this little niche where he thinks that being a, a Putin propagandist is somehow beneficial to him.

The, the guy that always said, oh, I'm, anti-war a lot of folks on the left. Like be Tucker's anti-war no, he's not. And you're all a bunch of morons. I don't understand Tucker's play here. I will say that. I don't understand why he felt the need to go all in on the wrong side of history. As Eric boing says, you literally have nothing to gain from it. Okay. It is generally except accepted throughout America. Except again, for the wackadoos that you know, left, right. Everybody were like, yeah, what Russia's doing is wrong. It's not crazy to say that it's not out of line to say that it it's what we're seeing happen in the United States or not in the United States, but over overseas right now, it it's pretty fricking obvious. So why did Tucker go this route? I still don't have an answer for that. Maybe he enjoys having his clips played on Russian state media. Maybe he enjoys going against the grain, but for whatever reason he has now gotten so extreme that even the folks at Newsmax are begging him to back off it a little bit.
