During a recent interview with ABC news, Liz Cheney refused to give an answer about whether or not she was considering running for president in 2024. In fact, she said, I'll make a decision about 24 down the road. The single most important thing is protecting the nation from Donald Trump. So that's not a no right. I'll make a decision later, which means she has not ruled it out. Like it is still very much a possibility that Liz Chaney could run for president in 2024. She's gone on to say in the same interview, quote, a man as dangerous as Donald Trump can. Absolutely never be anywhere near the oval office ever. Again. Those of us who believe in Republican principles and ideals have a responsibility to try to lead the party back to what it can be. I'm go ahead and stop you right there, Liz, because you ain't ever taken the Republican party back.

The Republican party has made its choice. It's the party of Trump. You have to come to terms with that, but I will say this, there is actually a way that you, Liz Chaney can single-handedly prevent Donald Trump from ever becoming president of the United States ever again. And it's actually pretty easy. All you have to do. Liz is run for president, but there is a caveat you don't get to run for president as a Republican. See right now, Liz, Chaney is most likely going to lose her house seat. Uh, she is trailing in the polls to the Trump backed challenger. So she's probably gonna get voted out. She's probably not gonna win this primary Liz Chaney's career in Congress, at least for the moment is gonna be finished. This will, you know, she'll leave office with Kininger at the end of this year and Madison Callthorne, but that's cuz he lost.

Kininger retired. So Liz, you will have all of your political connections, all your family connections, you know, through the Chaney name. All you have to do is run for president in 2024 as an independent. You know, this was actually a concept that I, I spoke about recently on the re ring of fire podcast with the Heather Parton from salon.com. If Liz Cheney were to run as an independent, she would be able to siphon off just enough votes from the Republican party to ensure a democratic party victory. Now Liz Cheney is not a Democrat. She made it clear in that statement that I read, you know, she wants a strong, robust Republican party. Get it back to what it was. But the only way that can happen is to get all the mag of people out of office, which isn't just Donald Trump. It would include people like Ron DeSantis. It would include people like Nikki Haley. You know, it would basically mean that you would have to have a Republican in office that was, you know, a Chris Christie or a MIT Romney, a traditional Republican that's horrible on the issues, but not as abrasive and hateful

Yeah, still horrible option for the country, but just not as bad, I guess, as the, the mega folk, but Liz Cheney running as an independent would basically be pulling a Ross per the only reason we ever had bill Clinton as president both the first and second term, by the way, cuz the guy never cracked 50% of the vote here in the United States. The only reason he won both of those races is because of Ross, Perro, Ross, Perro running as an independent, you libertarian whatever the hell he, you know, claimed to be siphoned off enough Republican votes from both George H w Bush. And then of course, um, uh, oh my God, his name escapes me. I can think of his face, uh, perfectly. Um, oh my God. Anyway, Clinton ran against him in 1996. I cannot believe I am drawing this blank right now.
