Scaramucci Says Trump Definitely Knows He's Lying About 2020 Election

According to former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, there is no doubt that Donald Trump knows he's lying about the results of the 2020 election. In fact, as Scaramucci recently told The New York Times, Trump even admitted at one point during his administration (but before the election) that he was "playacting" and that he was "full of it" about 50% of the time. During a recent interview with the New York times, Anthony Scaramucci, who I'm sure everybody remembers. He served 11 days as the, uh, communications director in the Trump administration before being let go. But he told the New York times reporter that there is no way that Donald Trump doesn't know that he is lying about the 20, 20 presidential election. Now let me read this quote from Scaramucci, and then I'm gonna get a little more in depth here. He says, I do believe that president Trump knows that the whole thing that he is doing is a ruse on more than one occasion throughout the campaign. He would turn to me and others and say funny things like why can't people realize what you guys realize about me, that, that I'm play acting and full of it at least 50% of the time. That's sort of joking. So he knows that this is all a lie.

Okay. As, as scare Bucci admits like, yeah, you know, he jokes around like, Hey, why don't these people know that I'm just full of it? 50% of the time, that really could go either way. Right? Like maybe he's just joking to hi, get a rise out of his friends. Self-deprecating humor. Or maybe he is being totally honest because it's Trump. We can never know, like I have no doubt. He said this to Scaramucci, but again, determining his intent from that statement is very difficult. Now here's where things get a little bit interesting. I actually had the opportunity recently. I talked to Anthony Scaramucci. Um, I was on a podcast with him, the, uh, John Melinda podcast.

And Melinda's actually gave me the opportunity to ask Scaramucci a couple questions. So I asked him about this specific report. I said, you know, you you're, you're saying that Trump is lying and I believe you, that Trump knows he is lying. I do believe that he knows he is lying. And I said, the question I have for you though, is that, do you have any like hard evidence or do you know if anybody has the hard evidence to really prove this? And unfortunately, what, what he told me was, no we don't or at least not yet. Right. Cause there's always a, a, maybe there's always the possibility. And the reason I wanted to ask him this question and I, and I knew obviously like, I'm sure Trump didn't put it in writing. So, so I was kind of expecting him to, you know, obviously say that, no, we don't have the hard evidence, but without the hard evidence, it's kind of hard to prove in court that Trump knows he's lying. And as I'm sure you've all heard me say plenty of times, um, because this is what the legal experts say. The only way Trump could escape a criminal conviction, the only possible way is if he goes into court and proves that he believed his own election lies and that would make in the eyes of the law, his actions, you know, to overturn the election somewhat. Okay. Like of course they're never okay. But if he genuinely believed it, then of course using his power and office to

Overturn it, it's not so bad. According to the law, which is very stupid. But again, he would have to prove that he knew that he believed his lies and all we have to do to take away that only defense for him is to prove that he knew he lost. So it's great when we do get statements like this from people that have been close to Trump, like Scaramucci, you know, Kelly Ann Conway with her book saying, Hey, I told Trump, he lost bill BARR. I told Trump, he lost Ivanka Trump. Yeah. I knew we lost. Those are all powerful statements. Somebody's gotta have it on tape. Right? We've gotta have that part of it because once we get that, we're taking away his only possible defense and that makes a prosecution and conviction so much more likely. But until somebody emerges with that evidence, we still have to contend with the fact that he could use it as a defense, that he believed these horrible things he was saying, but I'm optimistic that there is some evidence out there, a tape recording of video recording, something of him admitting that he lost. And if we can get it, his defense is over.
