During a recent interview with the daily beast, Mary Trump, the psychologist, niece of former president, Donald Trump said that she believes that his mental health is deteriorating as a result of the January 6th hearings, as she makes actually a really compelling argument here. So I'm gonna read her quotes first, and then I'm gonna explain her overall argument. So here is what she said. His mental health issues are quote serious and they're deteriorating any serious illness. That's not treated gets worse over time. He is addicted to being at the center of attention. I'm sure he's as riveted by these hearings as we are, but in completely different ways. And for him to feel that the focus is shifting away from him or that he's losing power will make things even worse because he won't confront that and process it and deal with it. He will bury it and therefore worsen his situation.
I can only imagine what it's like to be anywhere near him right now. I'm sure the temper, the out of control narcissism must be just unspeakably difficult for people around him to deal with. Not that I have any compassion for any of them at this point, but yeah, it's only gonna get worse from here. Now. She mentioned, of course his narcissistic personality disorder, which is what Mary Trump, the psychologist does believe that he is suffering from now. That is not, I guess, an official diagnosis, but I think anybody, you know, who has mental health training would probably be able to look at this. You can check your TSM five, look at the characteristics, characteristics, excuse me, of narcissistic personality disorder. And you're gonna see that. Yeah, that, that is basically what Donald Trump is. Okay. I'm I'm not a psychologist. I can't diagnose him. I do have a DSM five though.
I've looked at it. Yeah, you're pretty much like right on it. but here's the thing, the big reason that all of this is happening, right? That, that she says like, he's internalizing it, you know, lashing out at the staff around him, just making it horrible for everybody everywhere near him. Which of course we've already seen reports that yeah, that is happening. But the fact that he lost his forum Twitter, he lost his ability to fight back against what the committee is releasing. Oh, sure. He's putting it out there on truth, social, but nobody's on truth. Social. not to mention all of legal problems. The truth social's now facing is that sec investigation cranks up, you got a New York investigation into their deal with digital world acquisition. So truth social may not be around for much longer. And if Trump loses that he literally loses his voice because that's all he has. And he understands that truth. Social is not giving him the same reach as Twitter did. So because he is not able to get out there and fire off a tweet every five seconds. As
We watching these committee hearings, it's frustrating him. He is internalizing it. It's building up and it's causing this uncontrollable rage, cuz he doesn't know how to process it. If he can't get out there on Twitter and talk about it. And I agree with Mary Trump, like he, he needs somebody to talk to because this is gonna blow up. He is gonna blow up. And the real of course scary thought about that is that there is a fairly decent chance this, this man somehow ends up back in power one day. And if he is carrying this rage with him, it will follow him back into the oval office and then nobody is safe. Okay. That is the real danger of this. This isn't just ha ha Trump's having a mental breakdown. It's the fact that he could end up bringing his mental breakdown back into the white house. He could turn his mental breakdown into Paula will break down into policy, into executive orders into executive actions, basically a four year revenge tour from Donald Trump because he doesn't know how to process his emotions because growing up with his ILU, he never had to.
