Trump-Backed Candidates Are Getting Absolutely Destroyed Right Now

Some of Donald Trump's favorite hand-picked candidates might have sailed to primary victories this year, but they are getting creamed in their general election races right now. While some races are tighter than others, and things could certainly change, virtually every one of Trump's high-profile picks are losing - and some are losing by double digits. We have a little under two months until the midterm elections, things are gonna change between now and then probably. But I think it's important right now to talk about the fact that some of Donald Trump's favorite handpicked candidates in very high profile races. And these are the candidates that of course are making national headlines. Um, they're all doing really, really, really bad in the polls right now. Now some worse than others. Okay. Some are only about a point away, which is of course within the margin of error of any poll, but as it stands right now, all of Donald Trump's high profile picks are losing Carrie lake running for governor in the state of Arizona. Of course she is a major election denier right now. She is losing by 1.2 democratic, uh, uh, challenger, Katie Hobbs. So it's a one point difference, which means it is anybody's race.

However, the poll does show Hobbs has a one point advantage, which means that Kerry lake is losing also in Arizona, Blake masters, Donald Trump showed up, did a rally for him, made sure Blake masters won that primary, even though all the other Republicans, including Mike Pence, went out and endorsed masters challenger. Trump won that primary with his candidate and now masters up against a incumbent Democrat. Mark Kelly is losing by six points. Kelly's at 45%. Masters is at 39%. So Arizona not going so well for Donald Trump, but he's got other big races out there, right? It's not just Arizona. How about up in Pennsylvania and Ohio, where he is got not just Senate candidates that he has endorsed, but also Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate, Doug Mao, another election denier, very dangerous individual. How's Mao doing, you know, Donald Trump just did a rally for him and throughout some kind words about Dr.

Oz. So you would think those two candidates would get a bump from Trump, right? The Trump bump let's call it that. It's fun to say. Well, latest poll shows that Mao is, uh, losing by eight points, according to the polling aggregates on 5 38. And then of course, Dr. Oz, who is losing by 14 points to John Federman. So Pennsylvania is, you can't even say trending blue at this point because when you're winning by double digits, that's not trending. That is Republicans are about to have their asses handed to them in Pennsylvania because of these horrible Trump backed candidates over in Ohio race is a little tighter, but it still shows that, uh, Democrat, Tim Ryan is beating the Trump endorsed JD Vance by one point, of course. So once again, another one point race, but one point is one point

And JD Vance is currently losing. And that of course, once again, according to the polling aggregates at 5 38. Okay, well, Hey, all right, we got the Southwest. We've got the north. Well, what about, what about down here in the south and Georgia surely Donald Trump backed Herschel Walker. Isn't doing as bad as everybody thinks he is. Well, he is, he is still according to the aggregates, losing to Rafael Warnock by nearly four points. There was a poll last week, of course, that came out and showed Herschel Walker ahead by three points. But it turns out based on all of the other polling data that this one clearly was an outlier. There have been no other polls that have replicated those same results. They have actually shown the opposite. So Rafael Warnock is still currently ahead of Herschel Walker who was endorsed by Donald Trump. This is a problem for the Republican party because Trump's not gonna stop.

In fact, uh, Trump's kids are about to go out there and do some campaign rallies with some very extreme candidates. And that's probably not gonna work out too well for the G O P either. This is what Mitch McConnell's been warning about, and I love that no other Republicans are on board with Mitch McConnell's warning. Instead they're using his warnings to attack him and say that you should be ousted from your leadership position for saying we're doing so badly. Okay. But McConnell's not wrong. And if you continue following Trump, we might not even, not just not see a red wave. We may actually end up with a little bit of a blue wave. If Trump keeps, uh, hyping up these absolutely horrible people.
