According to the latest polling out of Colorado, Lauren Boebert's lead over her Democratic opponent has shrunk within the margin of error, meaning that there is a statistical tie in her race. This is the closest the race has been, and with only a month to go before the election, it is entirely possible that her Democratic challenger pulls off a miracle upset. Farron Cousins explains how that could happen.

According to a new report based on the polling data coming out of the state of Colorado, Lauren Bobert of all people is in a statistical tie with her democratic opponent, Adam Fresh. Now this is very interesting, right? Lauren Bobert, in spite of all the problems that she has faced, in spite of the, uh, campaign finance issues, the issues with her husband and his bowling alley, uh, incident from before she ran for office, the problems with the restaurant, which of course is now closed, Lauren Bobert still managed to cruise to a very easy primary victory. So it's odd that in this new polling, she is tied statistically with her opponent. Now, technically, she does hold a two point lead, but that two points is within the poll's margin of error. So again, statistical tie, but the poll tells us a little more because according to this poll in Lauren Bower's district, the reason her opponent has basically caught up to her is because independents are breaking for the Democrat.

The independence in Lauren Bet's district do not like her, and a majority of them say, We're going with the Democrat this time. Now, a word of caution before people get too excited thinking Lauren Bet's gonna lose her seat. This is a Republican plus seven district. The first time she ran it was a plus five district, but thanks to the redistricting from the 2020 census, uh, it actually grew a little bit and scooped up an area that had even more Republicans in it. So unless her opponent is able to snag, you know, 90% of the independent voters, and then you have a lot of Republicans sit out the race, Lauren Bogart's still gonna win. But the polls already show us that it is a statistical tie. So the question becomes not where the independents go, not where the Democrats go. We know where they're going, They're going to fresh.

The question is, where are the Republicans? Right? It's a plus seven district for the Republican party. The poll should not be this close, unless of course you have Republicans that are going over to the Democrat, Adam Fresh. That is the only possible way Laura and Bobert could be tied with her opponent. So what do we do with this information? Right? Okay, we know this. Now how do we use it? Well, I think what needs to happen at this point is that Mr. Fri, and again, I I don't know anything about his campaign, right? I don't know what kind of ads he's running, but I will offer advice and I hope that he, you know, takes it and I hope it's actually what he's already doing. Again, I, I don't know what he's doing. I don't live up there. But

What needs to happen is talk about what Lauren Bobert hasn't done for the district. And again, I, I assume he is already doing this, but this is the problem that we see with a lot of these other Republicans, whether it's Matt Gates right here in my district, whether it's Marjorie Taylor Green, uh, you know, Madison Callthorne, who doesn't have to worry about reelection anymore, or Lauren Bobert, or Jim Jordan is a great example too. Jim Jordan been in Congress 15 years, hasn't passed a single bill. Lauren Bobert hasn't passed a bill. Marjorie Taylor Green hasn't. Matt Gates hasn't. That's what needs to be hit on in these local communities. That is what the Democratic Party as a whole needs to be doing. Highlight the fact that these individuals who are out there in conservative media every single day haven't done a thing for you.

They're just in it to make themselves famous. They're in it for the speaking gigs. They're in it for the fame and the publicity, and only that, because when it comes down to their legislative records, not one of those people I've mentioned have ever done anything to help the actual people who continue to put them in office. For some reason, they're not brilliant legislators. They don't even know how to legislate. And bobert, I think is the most perfect example of that. Her district could use help, but she's not providing it. And I think that's why in this new poll, you're starting to get more and more Republicans saying, Well, she's not doing anything for us. So maybe it's time for a change.
