But NOW we know why he really filed the lawsuit, and he made that abundantly clear in the fundraising emails that he sent out after announcing the suit. On Monday of this week, Donald Trump filed a $475 million defamation lawsuit against CNN because as they put in the lawsuit, CNN did things like compared Trump to Hitler. They called him an insurrectionist. They, uh, called him a racist and a Russian lacky and all kinds of mean names that hurt Donny Trump's app, uh, uh, uh, feelings. So he is suing 'em for $475 million even though he doesn't have a single valid claim in the lawsuit. So when he filed the lawsuit, of course legal experts were left scratching their heads. He filed the thing in Florida, which means CNN would probably be able to use Florida's antis slap laws to immediately file a motion to not only get the case dismissed with prejudice, meaning he could not file it again anywhere at any time, but also to force him to pay their legal fees for having to even respond to it. So Donald Trump, not only is he gonna lose the case, but he's gonna lose money from it. So why even bother?

We have our answer folks. And the answer came from obviously a fundraising email that Donald Trump himself sent out. Well, probably not himself, I don't think he typed it up and hit send, but it came from him. So he did it. And the fundraising email says, I am suing the Corrupt News Network, CNN for defaming and slandering my name. Remember when they come after me, they're really coming after you. And of course, the way you fight back is to send me lots of money. It's a con like everything else this man has done. It's a con, it's a grif. He is suing cnn knowing by the way, that he has to pay his lawyers to file the motions, to file the lawsuit itself on all the times drafting it up. He's probably gonna end up having to pay CNN's legal fees, but the money that he could raise from those rubes out there in America is gonna be greater than the amount he will lose on the lawsuit.

So overall, it's a net win for him. He can suffer the loss in court and then of course blame our corrupt judicial system and their liberal judges and blah, blah, blah. And then he'll probably send that out in an email and raise even more money. It truly is the Grif that keeps on drifting at this point. But I think this fundraising email is absolutely exhibit A as to why Donald Trump actually filed the lawsuit. He knows he's not gonna win. I am assuming his lawyers also told him, This is really dumb. We're definitely not gonna win this because much like Fox News has done, if the claims that, uh,

Trump's lawyers in the lawsuit are making are true, CNN could easily say, Yeah, those were our opinions, we're allowed to say those. That's protected speech. You can't sue us for it. End of end of discussion. And the courts most likely would say, Yes, you're right. So Trump has no chance of this lawsuit being successful, so why file it unless you think you can make money off it, more money, of course, than it would cost you to file the suit and lose. And I don't think he's wrong. If that is the reasoning he is using, I absolutely think that Donald Trump will raise more money from the idiots out there that continue to support him. Then it will cost him to file the lawsuit. So overall, it's a net gain, right? It's a worthwhile investment. He thinks, Yes, I pay X amount to file it. I pay X amount in legal fees. I may even have to pay X amount in CNN's legal fees. But if I raise y amount from my idiot supporters who fall for that email thinking CNN's coming after them, then it's overall a win for me. I think that is how this scam is working, and I 100% believe that that is the only reason Trump filed this lawsuit, that he knows he is not going to win.
