According to a new report out from the Center for Effective Lawmaking, uh, which is a collaboration between academics at the University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University. Turns out that Jim Jordan is actually one of the least effective lawmakers here in the United States, and he is at the very bottom of the list for Republicans. Out of the 220 Republicans in Congress, Jim Jordan ranks 217th in effectiveness. So there's only three Republicans out of 220 that have gotten less legislation passed than Jim Jordan. And this is not a one time thing. It's not just, you know, in case you're thinking, well, he's on the judiciary committee, he's just worried about hearings. He's not passing legislation. I mean, I could continue this analogy forever, but you get the point. He's like, I didn't come here to make laws. No, you did. That is literally what the people of Ohio sent you to Washington DC to do. It's in the frigging title. Here's the rest of his quote. I actually came to Congress to reduce regulations and taxes on American families and the American people.

My goal is not to pass a bunch of bills. I'll support the legislation that I think makes sense. I I don't have to have my name on it to be supportive of that, and I'm certainly not going to do that at the committee. So not only are you not a law, as your job title says that you're supposed to be, you're a law destroyer, like the exact opposite of what you're supposed to be doing. So you don't want to pass legislation. You would rather remain an ineffective member of Congress screwing over your district by robbing them of somebody who's actually going to fight for them and bring things back home. Uh, you wanna go there to just burn it all down. Like that's what that quote means to me. Like, I didn't come here to make laws. I came here to destroy all the laws. I don't lack what this body does, and I'm gonna make sure we don't do it. So not only are you not doing your job, you're undoing the jobs of other people who are much more competent and far smarter than you are. That's Jim Jordan, and that is what he admitted. That is what this new study found Jim Jordan is basically the worst of the worst. And now we got the statistics to back that up.
