YouTube Description
as posted by the channelMarjorie Taylor Greene has made it clear that she would be flattered to be Trump's vice presidential candidate in 2024, and recent reports have suggested that she's definitely on his short list. But a new poll has basically destroyed those hopes for her, as the data shows that she might be the ONLY VP candidate that would cause Trump to lose his election bid, while all the other choices blow the Biden ticket out of the water. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

On multiple occasions, pretty much over the past year, Marjorie Taylor Green has admitted that she would absolutely be flattered and likely accept if Donald Trump were to approach her and say, will you be my vice presidential candidate On the 2024 ticket recently reports suggested that Marjorie Taylor Green's name is definitely one that is on the short list of people that Trump is considering, along with names like Carrie Lake and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. And yes, even Nikki Haley is on that list. So Marjorie Taylor Green, it would seem, is in a pretty decent position to be Donald Trump's running mate in 2024. That is of course, if Donald Trump is not paying attention to his favorite pollster Rasmussen cuz Rasmussen recently came out with a new poll that shows that Marjorie Taylor Green, as Donald Trump's VP on a presidential ticket, is pretty much the only combination that would lose to President Biden and Vice President Harris
Basically Marjorie Taylor Green would be poisoned for Donald Trump and this far right, highly unreliable pollster proved it. Now, before I get into the results, I do wanna point out that multiple reports have confirmed that Res, mussen, Rasmussen, whatever you wanna call it, skews heavily to the right. Like most of their polls tend to favor Republicans and because of that they're typically way off base from what really happens in elections. But this is a poll about Republicans only really which candidate is gonna do the best. So while the results I do disagree with, I think the trend is what is important and it shows that Marjorie Taylor Green is poison. It's also worth noting that Donald Trump has even admitted that Rasmussen is his favorite pollster. He loves them because they're skewed so far to the right and they make him look much better than he actually is. So here's the poll results. This from Newsweek, the survey found a Biden Harris ticket would defeat a Trump green ticket with 44% to the Republicans 40%. So if Trump picks Marjorie Taylor Green as his running mate, they lose by four points according to this highly unreliable pollster. So we're not looking at the actual numbers here. What we're looking at are the trends.
51% of likely voters would back a Trump ticket with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate. Uh, while just 43% said they would support Biden Harris. So if he switches over to running with his mortal enemy, Ron DeSantis, according to Rasmussen, well look at that. He's gonna
Beat them by eight points. If he picks Carrie Lake, a Trump Lake ticket, one 47% support among the poll's respondents compared to 42% for Biden and Aris. So if he picks Carrie Lake, he wins by five points. He picks Ron DeSantis, he wins by eight, he picks Marjorie Taylor Green, he loses by four. I think it's pretty obvious at this point if it wasn't already, which it should have been, but maybe it wasn't. Marjorie Taylor Green does not have national appeal. She is not going to win over any moderates or independence. But now's the point where I take a little issue with the rest of these numbers from Rasmussen because they're 100% out of line with literally every other poll that is out there right now. There is not a single poll available at the moment other than of course Rasmussen apparently that shows Biden or or Biden losing to Trump.
Like none of them show that. In fact, Biden's margin of victory over Donald Trump right now is actually growing. His margin of victory against Ron DeSantis is growing even greater. He's got a nine point lead over DeSantis cuz DeSantis, his profile nationally, according to every other poll, has fallen significantly, but for some reason not in this Rasmussen poll. So it's either everybody else is wrong or the one poll is wrong. So I'm gonna go with the one poll being wrong, but again, we know Rasmussen not exactly reliable. It's not a poll that I would trust at all, but I do trust trends.
