So on Tuesday after, of course, Donald Trump was arraigned in a federal court in Florida, he decided a little hungry, right? Wanted to go meet up with some of his supporters that were all hanging out in a, uh, restaurant, little local cafe that's very popular down there in Miami, the, uh, Versailles Cafe. And when he walked in, he was greeted, of course, to a bunch of Trump supporters out there telling them how much they loved him. And in fact, they even sang him Happy Birthday because Wednesday, you know, the day after the arraignment was his birthday. So they wanted to go ahead and wish the soon-to-be 77 year old, a happy birthday. Well, Donald Trump was so moved by this show of kindness and admiration from this crowd that he proudly proclaimed food for everyone. Everybody at the Versailles Cafe, come on, I'm gonna buy your food, is what that statement means.
Food for everyone. Right? Well, the hungry Trump supporters soon became hangry Trump supporters because Donald Trump left within 10 minutes and didn't buy any anybody's food. He was gone, and there was nobody there to pick up the bill as Donald Trump had already promised the crowd he would do. According to reports, nobody from Trump's camp came back to pay any bills. They didn't pay for anything. So Donald Trump, let me get this straight, walks into a restaurant, and this is not the start of a bad joke. Donald Trump walks into a restaurant, tells everybody food for everyone, and then just leaves. So he makes a lofty promise saying, I'm going to give you a thing. And everybody gets excited, right? Oh my God, we're gonna get a thing from this man. A and then he leaves without delivering on that promise. Now, I don't know about you, but to me that sounds like the entire Trump administration.
Like, I mean, hell, that's almost Donald Trump's entire life. Oh, come with me. Oh, follow me. Oh, adore me, and you will be rewarded with all of these wonderful things. And, and what happened in that verse I Cafe, was all of that in a nutshell, like in a 10 minute span, Donald Trump was exposed for being what most of us already knew Donald Trump was. Now, I wish I could say that this is obviously gonna taint Donald Trump in the minds of those hungry people who did not get fed, but it probably won't. I mean, if you were already there because you wanted to see Donald Trump because you wanted to tell him happy birthday, then him not buying your lunch is probably not going to change your opinion of him. But it should, because that little incident in that Miami Cafe was a microcosm
Of Donald Trump's entire life. Empty promises never fulfilled, and then he just walks away. That is what that man has done to his supporters since that first time he came down, that escalator promising them economic prosperity, promising to crack down on all the crime in the United States. He didn't do any of it, none of it. Just like in that cafe, he makes these proud proclamations, I'm going to do a thing. And then he slinks away without ever having done it. And unfortunately, his most diehard supporters, like the ones who sang him Happy Birthday, they don't care about it. They never have. They never will, because they're not supporters at all. They are, in fact, members of a cult.
