Trump Lawyer Yells At Fox Host For Not Loving Trump Enough

Former Trump lawyer Alina Habba went on Fox & Friends this week to defend her former client / current boss from his latest indictment. And she didn't have a very good time of it. Habba grew incensed when host Steve Doocy started pushing back against her, and she snapped and accused him of not loving Trump as much as he used to. So Alina Haba, Donald Trump's former lawyer slash current counsel for one of his Super pacs went on Fox and Friends this week to, uh, explain away the Georgia indictments and to pretend that they were no big deal because according to haba, she's got inside information about how big of a knot deal this actually is. So let me read you this exchange because at one point while talking to host Steve Ducey, Alina Haba got so mad about being asked a very simple question that she got onto Steve Ducey for not loving Trump as much as he used to. Here is how that exchange went down. Steve Ducey asked, I've heard from a lot of legal analysts, and they say, what is different about this case than the federal cases is Georgia has laws that are specifically tailored to election interference and things like that. Andy McCarthy, a Fox News contributor, and also he, he wrote an op-ed in the New York Post.

He said that the Georgia indictment is the most perilous threat to former President Trump. Does President Trump know that this is a perilous threat? So fairly straightforward question, like, Hey, this seems like a big deal, Alina, is it a big deal? And she says, and we do not agree that it is a perilous threat because we actually have inside information. At which point Ducey was like, what? Inside information, right? I mean, that's the logical question. Like, we've got inside information to worry. Oh, cool. Well, what inside information. That's when Haba snapped. She said the inside information, Steve, and you know, you used to love Trump. I gotta tell ya, this is something I'm not going to breach, right? I have confidentiality and I have ethics, and I'm, I'm going to continue.

Why? Why? Why did you get angry about that question? You're like, I've got inside information. W well, what is it? How dare you ask that question? You used to love Trump. What is wrong with you? I've got ethics. Like, wow, that is a completely irrational response to a very simple and obvious question. Like, why? Why are you suddenly flying off the handle when you got asked a question? You used to love Trump. Steve Deucey has never said he doesn't love Trump anymore. Although it's been fairly obvious for many months now that Steve Deucey is of course starting to question the Republican party blind loyalty to this man. And Ducey has at times appeared to be the only rational one on that couch in recent months while talking about these issues, as well as talking about the Hunter Biden issue. Steve Ducey is technically doing the job that he should have been doing from day one on that couch, and he is actually just asking very obvious questions to get answers because nothing seems to make sense. But Alina Haba couldn't take it. 'cause I don't think Alina Haba thought they were gonna ask about that. I

Thought, I, I, I think she thought she was gonna be able to go out there and make these outrageous claims. Like, oh, it's not a perilous trial. We've got insider information. And the folks on the couch, she thought were just gonna be like, oh, okay. Well that's great. That's good news. She didn't think for a second somebody's gonna say, oh, what information? And that's why she became angry, because of course she has no answer to that. And she's like, I have ethics. You're not his lawyer. You haven't represented him in this case because there technically wasn't a case while you were still on the legal team. And as far as I've known, I don't know that you have handled any of the Georgia stuff. Maybe you did, maybe I'm wrong. But that's not your case. You're just a spokesperson. And as a spokesperson, Alina, you have to be prepared to answer tough questions. You also have to be prepared to answer easy questions. And that is exactly what made you so angry that Steve Ducey asked, he wasn't prying into your personal life. He wasn't asking for confidential information. You said you had info. And all he asked is, what info is that? But apparently that was too much for Alina Haba to handle.
