Mike Lindell Panics After Being Told His Drone Surveillance Plan Is Illegal

After learning that his plan to fly surveillance drones over polling stations across the country would likely violate multiple state laws, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell sent out a frantic video saying that he isn't actually going to do what he said he would do at his summit last week. Lindell insists that he was never going to use drones, even though he specifically said that just a few days ago. So a couple days ago I told you about Mike Lindell's plan that he unveiled at his summit last week, where he is going to fly the little drones over the polling stations, you know, all the polling stations in the country. There's a lot of drones, uh, and they're all gonna have these WMDs wireless monitoring devices, but that's WMD as they're calling them. And they're gonna detect wifi networks in the polling stations to prove somehow that these voting machines are in fact tied to wifi. But here's the problem. Shortly after Mike Lindell announced his little plan to fly the drones, because that is specifically what he did at the summit, legal experts started pointing out that yes, that is a violation of most state laws across the country. Nearly all 50 states have laws forbidding the surveillance of individuals forbidding the surveillance of government facilities, which is what a polling station is considered during the time an election is being conducted.

Uh, they prevent surveillance at election stations. They prevent blanket surveillance of civilians. So his little plan would actually be highly illegal, which caused Mike Lindell to come out in an interview with Charlie Kirk and let everybody know that he was actually totally kidding about the drone thing, even though that's what he highlighted at his summit. And there's, there's photos, there's videos of him saying, this is what we're gonna do. He now says that what I said we were gonna do is definitely not what we're actually gonna do, and apparently never was. So forget what you were told like four days ago, because that was just totally him bluffing. Here's what he said to Charlie Kirk, I wanna take away all the rumors that were started all around the country. These are not drones. Everybody. We brought it in on a drone just for effect, and to make it kind of cool, bring it in, bring it in, all the excitement. The drones have nothing to do with it. So it is legal. Believe me, we've had our legal team on this for over a year, and it's just, it's like radio waves are capturing it.

So you're still gonna be doing surveillance even though it's not, as you say now gonna be on a drone. But the drone part isn't the illegal part. The the illegal part is, is the surveillance. It doesn't matter if it's being done from a drone overhead, it doesn't matter if it's being done from a dude standing outside, it doesn't matter if you've got a clandestine vehicle out there doing surveillance. That's what's illegal. So the drone part is kind of irrelevant. Your WMDs, the wireless monitoring devices, yeah, that's what you can't do. But more importantly, you have not yet explained

How these wireless monitoring devices, which are only designed to detect wifi networks, they can't exactly always tell you what is connected to the wifi network. Not to mention the fact that you're talking about doing this at a polling place when hundreds of people are coming in every hour and some places, thousands of people every hour, you know what you're gonna be picking up. I mean, first and foremost, whatever building is doing this, you know, churches, schools, rec centers, whatever it is, they're gonna have wifi. So are you gonna pick up wifi on that thing? Yes, you will. You're also gonna have plenty of people that keep their wifi hotspot turned on on their phone. So you're gonna be picking that up. You're gonna be getting constant connections coming and going, and you are going to try to misconstrue that and present it to the public as evidence that somebody is hacking into the elections because your device is not trained to figure out what devices are on the internet, who is sending, who is receiving? They're only designed to detect networks that exist within their range. But it doesn't matter anyway because like I said, most states have laws preventing this kind of electronic surveillance. So if you try it, whether it's on a drone or not, your most likely gonna be held criminally liable for it.
