Trump lawyer Alina Habba appeared on one of those "alpha male"-style podcasts this week where she ended up talking about her looks. While trying to claim that Donald Trump definitely didn't hire her because he thinks she's pretty, she also admitted that she would rather be "pretty than smart" because, as she falsely claims, she can "fake being smart." No one has ever accused her of being smart, as Farron Cousins explains.

During an appearance on a show called the PBD podcast this week, Trump lawyer, Alina Haba, actually admitted that she would rather be pretty than be smart. Now, what set this whole thing up was that the host of the PBD podcast asked Haba, why is it that an alpha male, like Donald Trump would choose somebody as, as feminine as her to represent him in the tw uh, $250 million fraud case in New York? And that's when things got weird with Alina Haas's response. So here she is explaining why looks are far more important than intelligence. Take a look.

I don't think I would be on TV or sitting here if I didn't look the way I look. I think I caught attention. Mm-Hmm, I'm, I'm very honest about that and I don't mind. I'm an, I'm not a feminist. Mm-HmM. Okay. I believe in strong women, but I'm, I want my door opened. I, I am very much an old school. My parents are Middle Eastern, old school woman. I, I, when I'm at home, I cook. I might have a husband I respect, I know how to turn it off. But do I not think that if, um, you know, so I'll, I'll tell you something. Somebody said to me, Alina, would you rather be, um, would you rather be smart or pretty? And I said, oh, easy. Pretty. I can fake being smart.

I meet 'em all the time. Alina

See the problem, Alina, is that you can't, you can't fake being smart. I mean, sure people can, but what I'm saying is you can't, we have seen you in court. We have read your filings. We have seen you do interviews. There isn't a single thing you have ever done that I have seen since you've been on the national stage that I would characterize as smart. You, you can't pretend to be smart. You are, you are not. I'm sorry. You're just not. So maybe you ought to rub that magic lamp one more time and ask that genie, if you can reverse your wish and ask for a little bit of intelligence rather than trying to be the prettiest person in the room because you're a lawyer, your looks don't matter. I mean, have you seen some of the lawyers that get trotted out on tv?

I mean, Alan Dershowitz, you think he's winning any beauty pageants out there? No. People respected him prior to the Epstein stuff, obviously, because he was a very accomplished trial lawyer. Johnny Cochran, no offense, you know, great criminal defense lawyer, obviously of even better by the way, personal injury lawyer. But, uh, was he the best looking dude out there? No. People should choose lawyers based on skills, not based on how they look after they pretty themselves up. But Alina Haba thinks the opposite. She thinks that as long as she can pretend to be smart, being pretty is far more important. Is that why you've literally lost every single case where you've represented Donald Trump? Because let's not forget that they, this, this individual who says she'd rather be pretty than smart, has so far lost every case that she has brought for Donald Trump. Every motion she has filed, she's even been sanctioned for one of the failed lawsuits that she filed on behalf of Donald Trump.

Something that she actually bragged about during a recent TV appearance, or it wasn't a TV appearance, it was a Republican, uh, uh, convention. See, and that's the thing. It doesn't matter if Alina Haa is a good lawyer or a bad lawyer. I think we both know where she falls there. However, she does have good looks and Republicans think she is very attractive. So they're gonna keep trotting her out on stage. She's not gonna have a very long and storied legal career. But being a personality inside the Republican party, that's gonna last a long time until, of course the looks fade, right? Because once those looks fade, which let's face it, that just happens. What are you left with? Pretending to be smart doesn't seem like a very good career path. If you ask me.
