Tuberville claimed that Putin has absolutely no interest in Ukraine because he "has enough land" already. Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville apparently wants to become Vladimir Putin's unofficial PR person here in the United States. During an interview this past week with the soon to be imprisoned, Steve Bannon, Tommy Tuberville actually defended Vladimir Putin and dismissed all the, you know, war crimes and crappies do it over in Ukraine, the invasion that he launched. Like, ah, it's not a big deal because as Tuberville tells us, Putin doesn't actually want Ukraine. He's got enough land already. Let me read you this absolutely bonkers, insane statement from Tommy Tuberville. How many clips have you seen of a battle in Ukraine? Zero in the last 6, 7, 8 months. It's one sided. Putin's just kind of sitting back watching what's going on, wondering, Hey, when y'all going to come over and we'll draw a line here. He doesn't want Ukraine. He doesn't want Europe. Hell, he's got enough land of his own.

He just wants to make sure that he does not have United States weapons in Ukraine, pointing in Moscow. He's got enough land, right? Like he's not trying to build Coco's Summer Palace over there. So what, what's going on? Right? What's the big deal? He's just waiting for us to be like, here's the line, don't cross it. Um, Tommy Tuberville is treating this as if it's some sort of real estate dispute, right? Like, oh, he is got enough. Have you seen how big Russia is? It's giant. Like he is up there on the top of the map and there's so much land, he doesn't need more land. Thi this isn't about real estate. You backwoods, hillbilly moron. This is about power. This is about control. This is about a blood thirsty dictator that believes it his, is his destiny to retake these lands for mother Russia. That's what this is.

And you're sitting there repeating these idiotic right wing talking points, and even some on the very, very far left, the left that went so far, they came back around to the right by saying that, oh, the United States is responsible 'cause we're pointing weapons at Russia. Russia's pointing 'em right back at us. Folks like, don't act for a second. Like the United States is the aggressor here. Putin, who is a brutal blood thirsty dictator, invaded a sovereign country and has been there for over two years, and Tuberville is like, well, we haven't even seen any footage in like 6, 7, 8 months. Then I suggest you turn on the news. I suggest you get on TikTok or Instagram and you follow some people that are living in Ukraine. You wanna see footage, it's available. You are trying not to see it so that you don't have to act like something bad is happening over there.

It is. We've got bad things happening done by Russia in Ukraine. Bad things happening in the Middle East. We, we've got a lot of bad things happening all over the planet right now. But to stick up for a guy like Putin, I don't care. Right? It's your prerogative. If you want to think that we shouldn't be helping Ukraine, I think we should. But if you don't think that we should, I understand that too. But in no way can you defend the actions of Vladimir Putin. Like that is utter insanity. Like that's just hitting a whole new level here, right? I'll tell you what you love Putin so much. I gotta dare for you, Tuberville. How about you go over to Russia, right? You hold a press conference and you say something bad about him. All right, let's see how that works out for you. Stay away from the, uh, windows and the tall buildings, right? 'cause every time somebody over there goes against Vladimir Putin, next thing we know, the headline is, Hey, very rich oligarch in Russia falls outta window. Oop, another one fell outta window. Falls outta window, suddenly died in jail, right? I mean, you'd have to be a complete brain dead idiot to not understand what's happening over there. But apparently that's the guy that Tommy Tuberville wants to defend because he thinks this whole thing is just about real estate.
