The logistics of putting a former President in jail are complicated, and it may be a complication that Judge Juan Merchan wants to avoid. Everybody wants to know if Donald Trump is gonna go to jail, right? The entire country at this point. We're like a bunch of kids waiting on Christmas Eve. We know Santa's coming. He just can't get here soon enough. And that's how we are with this July 11th sentencing date, right? We wanna know what Santa's gonna bring us in July, lie, but I hate to burst your bubble. Probably not going to be an actual jail sentence. We have a viewer question here. This is from Raven Rose 91, who says, what do you think is the most likely sentence Trump will receive? And how do you see this affecting his other indictments? Um, affecting the other indictments? I don't think that, I don't think that happens, really. Um, he'll be allowed to travel no matter what the sentence is, even if it is jail. He would be allowed to travel for hearings and meetings with lawyers and things like that.

So it's not gonna affect any of that. But what do I think the sentence is going to be? Well, I'd like it to be jail. I mean, 34 felonies that each carry, you know, a possibility of four years in prison. Um, that's not light, okay? That's not like, Hey, we got him on a, you know, jaywalking charge. No, you got him on some very serious charges that have very serious penalties, and he should pay a very serious price for it. But logistically, locking up a former president of the United States who thanks to a bill, signed by Obama, is guaranteed secret service protection for the rest of his days. That is a logistical nightmare, and I've talked about that at length, you know, over the last few months. But you trump, no matter what, even if he is in prison, gets that secret service protection. And that creates a whole lot of problems for the prison and the jail systems themselves, because those Secret Service agents are armed with guns.

You can't have that freely roaming around a prison, but they can't be denied that ability to protect Donald Trump. So right there, and that's by the way, something that a lot of people aren't thinking about when they think logistically about Secret Service. Like, oh, well they just go into the prison, but they can't with their tools, and they can't not have their tools. So that alone is probably a giant like flashing warning sign for Judge Marshan as he continues the sentence. But you're not asking me about what's not gonna happen. You're asking me what I think will happen, but gotta explain to you why I don't think jail is going to be a realistic possibility. I'd love for it to be, it still could be, probably won't be. Instead, I think Trump's gonna get the far more hilarious home confinement, because what's gonna happen at that point, whether it's six months, whether it's a year, whether it's whatever is

That Trump's campaign dies, it dies instantly in that moment because he won't be able to leave the property. Whether he's holed up in Bedminster or down at Mar-a-Lago, he's stuck there. So no more rallies. He can do interviews, you know, they'll set him up a very nice studio down there. You will have all the right wing pundits coming there to do things. You'll have all the donors coming there for meetings to give him money, but you won't have him out there. He won't be traveling the country. All those people who show up at his rallies, I'm willing to bet none of them have the kind of money to go down, move to Florida and become members of Mar-a-Lago, to see him every day. So he'll be stuck. He'll start to go stir crazy. He'll put out crazy things on social media. He'll post more of those crazy videos of himself out there. But everybody will remember this guy's down there because he broke the law. And by the way, that would mean he wouldn't be able to participate in debates unless they do it digitally. So you're gonna have President Biden standing on a stage in a video monitor with Trump's face on it, and it's gonna remind the whole country, oh yeah, that guy's a convicted felon.
