Corrupt Supreme Court Paved The Way For Trump Decades Ago

If you're mad about Donald Trump and the damage he's done to American politics, you need to direct your anger at the Supreme Court. Their decision in Bush v Gore paved the way for Donald Trump to enter politics decades ago, by allowing a completely incompetent and irresponsible Republican to win that race by halting the ballot counting in Florida. They put us on this path, and Trump is their end result. Farron Cousins explains how this happened.

So for the past week, I have been on vacation. And so during this time I have, uh, been recording, uh, doing basically prerecorded a bunch of q and as from the viewers here at Fair and Balanced. I wanna thank everybody that asked a question. Um, I, again, there were hundreds of them, so I obviously could not get to all of them, but I do love doing this. No, I don't, and I'm glad you brought this up.

'cause this is something I, you know, every now and then, maybe it's every year or so, maybe every couple years, that thought does pop into my head. Like, what if, what if the Supreme Court had not stepped in and stopped the voting in Florida and Al Gore would've been allowed to win the state? Which investigations have of course concluded there were more uncounted Al Gore ballots that would have in fact flipped Florida. The Supreme Court stepped in and stopped it. By the way, Ted Cruz argued that case when he was wish working for the Bush campaign. So another reason to dislike Ted Anyw, who, if the Supreme Court hadn't thrown that election for George W. Bush and put that absolute brain dead dumbest president we've ever had in office. No, I don't think we ever would've gotten to the point of Donald Trump. Donald Trump is the result of the dumbing down of the Republican party.

Now, I'm saying here that, you know, the dumbing down started with George W. Bush, but it really didn't. The dumbing downs started with Ronald Reagan, right? The former actor who became the governor of California. Then he ran for president, you know, acted like a knit wit the entire time he was in office, screwed over the middle class, you know, had basically hugely racist campaigns. That really is what kickstarted the dumbing down. But George W. Bush put it on steroids because what happened immediately after George W. Bush in the eight years of stupid? Well, the next Republican candidate, John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. Sarah Palin was so dumb. She made George W. Bush look like a Rhode Scholar. He looked like he was the president of Mensa compared to Sarah Palin. And then what happened after, uh, Sarah Palin, we had, uh, uh, Christine O'Donnell, the, I'm not a witch lady, running as a Republican, not for president, but for office. That was even crazier. Then we got people like Louis Gohmert and then of course Donald Trump after the Republican party had been dumbed down so badly, year after year after year,

Donald Trump was able to step in, embrace the stupid and become President. None of which would've happened had we had Al Gore win the 2000 election. I firmly believe that. But that Supreme Court decision put us on this path. Or we may have already been on this path of the dumb down Republican party thanks to Reagan. But they definitely accelerated us down that path and they paved the way for people to get dumber and dumber because look what's happened since Trump left office. 'cause he is been outta office since January of 2021. Marjorie Taylor Greene did not get sworn in as a member of Congress until January of 2021. Lauren Bobert George Santos. And let's not forget the 2022 midterm election where we had people like Herschel Walker. I mean, uh, Tommy Tuberville is now a sitting senator. So even with as dumb as Trump got the party to, it's still getting dumber. I mean, I don't know what comes next. Maybe the Republicans are gonna nominate a baboon in a suit and tie, but I gotta tell you, that would probably be better than a lot of the Republicans out there. But yeah, the dumbing down is all mostly because of that Supreme Court decision in Bush v Gore. If we hadn't had that, I guarantee you we never would've had Trump and we'd probably have a much smarter Republican party today.
