During a recent press briefing, Karoline Leavitt made up an insane claim that Japan is putting tariffs on imported rice and that the US is going to retaliate, but Japanese officials pointed out that this was a complete fabrication from Leavitt. They then, politely, demanded that the administration put an end to the "confusion and chaos" that their tariff lies are causing. Farron Cousins explains what happened.
