Noem was asked by Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan what "habeas corpus" is, and Noem immediately suggested that it simply means that Trump can arrest anyone that he wants. Obviously that is NOT what the Constitution says, and for the person in charge to not even understand basics about the rule of law is absolutely chilling. Farron Cousins explains what happened.
