According to a new report, the genius Republicans in the House and Senate didn't realize that their massive budget cuts from the "Big, Beautiful Bill" would go into effect BEFORE the midterms next year, and now they are panicking because they know they'll pay the price for it at the polls. They honestly thought that their 2026 budget wouldn't start having an impact until years down the road, possibly buying them some time from being held accountable for the damage they agreed to cause.
